Kodiak Brown Bear Center

Kodiak Brown Bear Center added 3 new photos.

The KBBC is off and running with its first guests of the season. While our guests were out seeing sows and cubs around the lake chef Natasha Panamarioff was outside by our campfire pit when she heard a noise and turned around and low and behold there was this 4 year old sub adult male about 20 feet from her on the steps leading up to the cook cabin. This bear had a really gentle demeanor. When he spotted Natasha he looked up at her and started walking away slowly but not before he felt it was an appropriate gesture to stick his tongue out at her. We'll need to work with this bear on his social skills and inform him it's not polite to stick his tongue at us or the KBBC guests.
